The Tarapoto airport has several daily flights to Lima, Iquitos and other cities, making it a good option to start your visit to Chachapoyas. From Tarapoto to Gocta there are 325 km of paved roads. We offer tours with privatetransportation from Tarapoto that will also allow you to get to know the Amazon and the Alto Mayo.

The route from Tarapoto to Gocta is one of the most spectacular in Peru, as it ascends from the Amazon jungle to the green Andes of Chachapoyas, crossing the Alto Mayo and its orchid forests, the Pomacochas lagoon and other places of scenic and ecological interest. All our programs include lodging, meals, transfers, visits and tour guide.

Important remarks

  • Rates valid until December 31, 2026, unless changes are notified through our website.
  • This manual describes the programs operated by PERU TRES NORTES and the daily tours offered in each one of them. The order of the tours is shown as an example, since the final schedule is determined by the day of the week on which the program begins. The tour schedule will be provided at the front desk upon arrival.
  • Rates per person based on double, triple or family occupancy. Includes transfers, accommodations, meals, excursions as described and service taxes.
  • Single occupancy supplement: 150 PEN per night. In High Season the supplement for single occupancy is 300 PEN per night.
  • Tours and transfers are offered in shared service. Please contact our reservations department if you would prefer a private service. Private service programs have a 25% supplement.
  • Infants from 0 to 2 years and 11 months are free of charge, they share all the services including bed, meals and seats with the parents. In case additional charges for entrance fees or others are required, such charges will be paid by the parents.
  • Infants from 3 to 4 years and 11 months have a 75% discount from the regular adult rate.
  • Children from 5 to 11 years and 11 months have a 25% discount from the regular adult rate.
  • The company is not liable for any cancellations or delays caused by weather conditions, strikes or social conflicts, rescheduling or cancellations made by the airline or transportation company and/or personal reasons of the passengers (personal or family health, accidents, unforeseen events, death, etc.), applying in all these cases the stipulations established in our cancellation policy.
  • The order of the tours listed in the program are only for referential purposes. Tours and excursions are subject to changes, rescheduling or cancellations due to internal dispositions and/or factors beyond the company’s control, such as weather conditions, road closures or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • We recommend booking flights arriving in Tarapoto between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for greater comfort in transfers and accommodation. For the return flight to Lima, we recommend flights between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm, to be able to enjoy the complete experience at Pumarinri Amazon Lodge.
  • For touristic programs, the same conditions of payment, rescheduling and reimbursement apply based on flexible accommodation rates. Conditions applicable to individual and group bookings.
  • Check in 3:00 p.m/ Check out – 1:00 p.m.
